2002 - 2003 Class Schedules

October 9th - October 25th

These activities will focus on character building and fun exercises.

     Tashua School's Computer Club is a voluntary club for grades 3 through 5 students who want to learn or enhance their knowledge of computers and various programs and equipment. Students will meet once a week for seven weeks outside of school hours.

     Activities include:

1 - Word processing (insert letterhead, change font/size, import picture, spell check, save and print);
2 - Digital camera and scanner (save to diskette, adjust graphics, cut & paste); 3 - Research (using available programs and the Internet);
4 - Create a greeting card (emphasis on inserting pictures, resizing, moving, inserting a message and saving to diskette);
5 - Spreadsheet (use EXCEL to create a data table, change size of columns, manipulate data, auto sum, create graphs with proper labels);
6 - Internet (search by a topic and by a specific Web address) In order to participate in the Internet activities, the student and parent must sign a Trumbull Internet Use Agreement Form.  Any person, student or faculty, who will be using the Internet, must have a signed permission form on file in the office or they will not be able to access the Internet on the school district's network;
7 - "Free Day" when students can use any of the programs available

     Computer Club is available every day before school from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m., after school on Monday and Thursday from 3 to 4:15 p.m., and Friday during recess time for grades 3 through 5.  Since the club is outside of normal school hours, except for Friday recess, there is no bus service and parents will have to arrange transportation to bring or pick up their children on time.

     There is a $1.00 fee requested which cover supplies and the purchase of new programs.  If you have any questions, you can call
